I got this cream suede couch...that I am in love with. And when I thought I could love nothing more, I found a chair to go with it...but not just any chair...a chair I sink into, that swallows me up...and this chair? This cushion on this chair...goes as long as my legs. I bought a small wine fridge to set up on the counter, a bed that makes me want to sleep forever. The walls I painted a dusky red color, but the carpet is that same cream color...I have been working on it all week and I think I got it perfect. It's home. I went down to the antique store and got these gold frames and took them to Michael's where they cut them down and made them fit some of my best concert posters. You would think it would look tacky, but it actually turned out really great. So four staggered across the wall across from the couch and under it I got this great old black buffet table lined with my pictures and a candle. I love it...I love the place and it's so different than my grandparents place downstairs.
Just for me.
Off the side, Kai built me an exit and there is a small deck there I will mess with later. Probably just some chairs and flowers. I am not here much...don't do much entertaining, but it is great for eating dinner. I locked up Chloe's boat and promised her I'd take it out to keep it from getting too much mold and stuff. I miss her, but hey, what can ya do? The girl keeps ants in her pants.
So...I have a big mouth that plays the stupid card sometimes. I feel like I was better off just keeping quiet.
Things were better that way.
